Terms of Service

1. Agreement & Binding Nature

By accessing, installing, or using Sketchdoor (the "Service"), you ("User", "You") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you may not use Sketchdoor. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

Sketchdoor is provided by Sketchdoor ("We", "Us", "Our", "Company"). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Sketchdoor.

2. What is Sketchdoor?

Sketchdoor is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) automation tool that integrates with Google Workspace to streamline business workflows. It is designed for:

• Internal business automation and process optimization
• Team collaboration and project management
• Automated client deliverables and reporting
• Email organization and support ticket management
• Enterprise workflow integration

Sketchdoor is an internal company tool and is not intended for consumer personal use or public distribution.

3. License Grant & Permitted Uses

3.1 Limited License

Sketchdoor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Sketchdoor solely for authorized business purposes within your organization.

3.2 Permitted Uses

You may use Sketchdoor for:

• Internal business automation and workflow optimization
• Team collaboration and project management
• Client deliverable automation (reports, documents, etc.)
• Email organization, tagging, and support ticket management
• Integration with Google Workspace applications
• Authorized organizational process improvements

3.3 Prohibited Uses

You strictly may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access proprietary code or algorithms
• Use Sketchdoor to access data without proper authorization or consent
• Sell, rent, lease, or redistribute Sketchdoor services to third parties
• Use Sketchdoor for any illegal, unlawful, or unauthorized purposes
• Violate Google's API Terms of Service or acceptable use policies
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Use Sketchdoor to harass, threaten, or harm any individual or entity
• Send unsolicited bulk communications through Sketchdoor automation
• Use Sketchdoor to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of Sketchdoor

4. Google Workspace Data & APIs

4.1 Your Data Ownership

You retain full ownership and control of all your Google Workspace data. Sketchdoor processes your data on your behalf to provide the Service.

4.2 Our Responsibilities

Sketchdoor commits to:

• Process data only as authorized by your OAuth consent
• NOT permanently store your email, file, or personal data on our servers
• NOT sell, share, or disclose your data to third parties
• Maintain industry-standard security standards for API access
• Allow you to revoke access anytime via Google Account settings
• Use OAuth 2.0 and encrypted HTTPS connections for all data transfers

4.3 Data Retention & Deletion

Data is retained only while necessary for immediate operation and automation tasks. Upon completion:

• Temporary processing data is deleted immediately
• API tokens are refreshed or revoked as appropriate
• No permanent copies are retained on our servers

When you revoke Sketchdoor access through Google Account settings, all associated application data is deleted permanently.

4.4 Compliance with Google Policies

Sketchdoor operates in full compliance with:

• Google API Services User Data Policy
• Google's Acceptable Use Policies
• Google Workspace Terms of Service
• OAuth 2.0 security standards

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your Google Account credentials
• Controlling who has access to your Google Workspace account
• Revoking Sketchdoor access if authorized users leave your organization
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or misuse

5.2 Authorization & Consent

By authorizing Sketchdoor through OAuth, you represent that you have the authority to grant Sketchdoor access to your Google Workspace account. You acknowledge that you have reviewed the scopes being requested and consent to such access.

5.3 Compliance with Laws

You agree to use Sketchdoor in compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data protection laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do NOT warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available 24/7
• All automations will complete successfully or without delays
• Third-party API integrations will always function correctly
• Your data will never be lost, corrupted, or compromised
• The Service will meet all your specific business requirements

You use Sketchdoor at your own risk. We recommend maintaining independent backups of critical data and testing automations before deploying in production environments.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your Google Workspace
• Compromised account credentials or security breaches
• Third-party API service failures or unavailability
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost profits, revenue, business opportunity, or anticipated savings
• Interruptions to business operations

Our total liability for any claim related to these Terms or your use of Sketchdoor shall not exceed the amount you have paid for Sketchdoor in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sketchdoor, its founders, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of Google's API policies or terms
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Your use of Sketchdoor for prohibited or illegal purposes
• Your Google Workspace account credentials being compromised
• Your unauthorized disclosure of API keys or tokens

9. Compliance with Legal Requirements

9.1 Data Protection Laws

Sketchdoor complies with applicable data protection regulations including:

• GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation (EU)
• CCPA - California Consumer Privacy Act
• LGPD - Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Brazil)
• Other applicable international data protection laws

9.2 Law Enforcement & Legal Process

While we are committed to privacy, Sketchdoor may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or legal process. We will attempt to notify you of such requests unless prohibited by law.

10. Termination & Revocation

10.1 Revocation by You

You may terminate your use of Sketchdoor anytime by revoking our access through Google Account Security Settings. Upon revocation, Sketchdoor's access to your Google Workspace terminates immediately.

10.2 Termination by Sketchdoor

Sketchdoor may terminate or suspend your access if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You violate Google's API policies
• You use Sketchdoor for prohibited or illegal purposes
• You pose a security or legal risk to Sketchdoor or others

10.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination or revocation:

• All access to Sketchdoor ceases immediately
• Your associated application data is deleted
• Your Google Workspace data remains intact and under your control
• We are released from further obligations except for outstanding liabilities

11. Changes to Terms of Service

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Updated posting on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
• Email notification if you have consented to receive communications
• In-app notification or prominent notice

Your continued use of Sketchdoor after changes means you accept the new Terms. If you disagree, you may revoke access immediately.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal legal action, we encourage you to contact us to attempt informal resolution of any dispute. Please contact support within 30 days of discovering the issue.

12.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of applicable jurisdiction, consistent with Google's API Terms of Service, regardless of conflict of law principles.

12.3 Jurisdiction & Venue

Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of applicable jurisdiction, and you hereby consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

12.4 Arbitration Clause

Subject to applicable law, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration. Specific arbitration terms will be communicated if required by jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, it shall be severed. The remainder of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sketchdoor regarding your use of the Service. These Terms supersede all prior negotiations, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
